What is a Drip Kit?
A Drip Kit lets you customize a compatible Matador bag with a new accent color. Each kit includes shock cord, zipper pulls, a cord lock, and an installation tool.
Are Drip Kits included with the bags?
No. Drip Kits are sold separately. The 18L Personal Item Travel Pack, 24L Adventure Pack, 24L Tote Pack, 35L Global Travel Pack, and 45L Global Travel Pack come with stock external shock cord already installed. Drip Kits let you replace the stock components with a different accent color.

Which bags are compatible with Drip Kits?

Drip Kits are not designed for older Matador bags or other products unless compatibility is specifically stated.
How do I tell what Matador bag I have?
There's a small woven tag in the right-hand seam of every Matador bag that indicates the bag's name. Additionally, all bags have a large internally woven name tag.
What comes in a Drip Kit?
Each kit includes shock cord, zipper pulls, a cord lock, and an installation tool.
Do I install the Drip Kit myself?
Yes. Drip Kits are designed for at-home installation. Step-by-step instructions are available through the QR code on the packaging and on our Drip Kit installation page.
Do I need any additional tools?
No. The installation tool is included with the kit.
Does every compatible bag use all of the pieces in the kit?
Yes. Each compatible bag is designed to use all of the included components. You can also choose to install only the pieces you want for a more personalized look.
Can I use any Drip Kit color with any bag color?
Yes. Any Drip Kit color can be paired with any compatible bag color. Choose a subtle tonal combination or add more contrast.
Can I move a Drip Kit from one compatible bag to another?
Yes, but repeated removal and reinstallation may cause wear over time. The placement of each component also varies by bag, so the final look will differ between products.
Will installing a Drip Kit change how the bag functions?
No. Drip Kits are designed to change the bag’s appearance without affecting its capacity or core function. Make sure all components are installed securely before use.
Can I use a Drip Kit on an older Matador bag?
No. Drip Kits are designed for the compatible bags listed above. Compatibility with older Matador products should not be assumed.
