Good idea, poor execution.

I wanted to like this protective bag but it came up short. I purchased it to protect my camera on a week long rafting trip in Idaho. First, it is too small to fit a full frame camera, so I used with a Sony ASP-C crop sensor camera. The fit was ok, and the protective layers proved to be largely waterproof and good protection from bumps. However, getting the camera in and out was a real pain, even if I did not use the dry-bag-like closure. Because the bag is structureless, it clings to the camera and involves two hands whether putting it in or taking it out. The product would be better if designed with some structure or rigidity that would make it truly “quick draw.” As it is, while it did protect my camera, I am unlikely to use it again because of frustration with ease of use.

Great Bag

I have a Sony RX-10. Camera fits well even with the large lens hood attached. Pocket is small but sufficient for extra battery and cloth.
