The 45L Global Travel Pack is a soft-sided pack designed to meet carry-on size requirements for most airlines. Carry-on requirements vary by airline and flight, but the pack’s soft-sided construction gives it more flexibility than rigid luggage. It is designed for carry-on travel and fits in the overhead compartment on most passenger aircraft.
Who is the 45L Global Travel Pack best for?
The 45L is built for travelers who want maximum packing space without carrying a traditional suitcase. Its larger capacity, supportive harness, and internal organization make it especially useful for longer trips and international travel.
Do the shoulder straps and hip belt stow?
Yes. The shoulder straps and hip belt tuck into the back panel for easier handling and added protection when the pack is checked or stored.
Is the hip belt removable?
Yes. The padded, load-bearing hip belt can be removed when it is not needed.
Does it have laptop and tablet storage?
Yes. The pack includes a padded laptop compartment with a false bottom, plus a separate sleeve for a tablet, portable monitor, documents, or other flat items.
How large are the water-bottle pockets?
The pack includes two oversized external bottle pockets designed to fit a wide range of travel bottles, including larger formats.
Is the pack waterproof?
The pack uses waterproof materials and DuraGlide™ sealing external zippers for strong weather protection. It is built for rain and everyday travel exposure but is not intended for submersion.

The Matador® 45L Global Travel Pack is a high-capacity, carry-on-friendly travel backpack designed for extended trips, international travel, and travelers who prefer to keep their luggage on their back. Its 45-liter capacity is sized to fit most airplane overhead bins, although airline requirements vary. Dual Access Architecture™ combines convenient top loading with a full clamshell opening, allowing the main compartment to be packed and accessed like a suitcase.
A padded external-access laptop sleeve, separate sleeve for tablets up to 13 inches, layered admin pocket, see-through internal baffle, and high-visibility lining organize clothing, electronics, and travel essentials. Cushioned shoulder straps, a breathable back panel, adjustable load lifters, a composite framestay, and a removable hip belt help distribute heavier loads during long travel days. The shoulder straps and hip belt stow away for protected transit or checking. Waterproof 420D recycled nylon and DuraGlide™ sealing exterior zippers provide weather resistance, while dual bottle pockets, a luggage handle pass-through, RFID-blocking Smuggler’s Pocket™, location-tracker pocket, and lockable zipper loops add practical travel utility.
