I travel out of one backpack 6-8 months each year and always bring this towel. At 5'11" it is JUST the right size to fully dry myself after a shower. It is always completely dry by the next time I need to use it.

Be warned though, if you have long hair, you would certainly need a separate towel for that.

Sometimes I don't need it at all, sometimes it is my only towel for a month straight. At <100g I don't mind having it permanently in my pack.

I wanted to get my luggage down from a 40L backpack, to a 19L one for a 3-4 week international trip. This towel made that possible. It dries me well enough (about 90% dry) which is fine. The towel dries out real quick and it packs down to nothing. Super useful and met my strangely specific need!
