Im newly converted to one-bagging and ultralight/lightweight backpacking. However, I still have to carry my 17" work laptop for remote work, and I also have to check my main bag because I travel with industry knives that can't fly carry-on.
Thus, the Freefly16. The perfect packable bag for me.
I use this bag when flying to carry my electronics and any extra items out of my main bag, while checking my main bag. Then I put everything back into my main bag once I arrive at my destination.
I use it as my everyday bag at the destination as well, so I don't have to empty/carry my larger main bag. It's durable for city or trail use, waterproof, and big enough to carry my laptop and accessories, outer layers, snacks, trekking poles, camera equipment, a water bottle, and more.
When not using it packs down to the size of an avocado and weighs nothing. Even then, the size and weight compared to the freedom, versatility, and utility yhis bag provides is well worth it!
