Matador "No Fine Print" Warranty
Matador products all carry a minimum 1-year warranty on material and workmanship defects unless otherwise specified. We guarantee your product will remain fully functional for 1 year from the date of purchase for the original purchaser.
To start a warranty claim, please include the following information in your email:
• Order number/proof of purchase
• Photo of warranty/defect
• Shipping address
Because we always try to take care of our customers, Matador may still consider warranty claims that do not meet the above requirements. If you have an issue beyond the warranty period or don't have your original receipt, reach out to CustomerService@MatadorEquipment.com with your issue and we will determine if we can still cover the issue under warranty.
Purchases from unauthorized retailers on third-party sites, platforms, or stores (example: ebay) may not be covered under warranty.
MATADOR 1-YEAR WARRANTY

If you have a functional issue with your product in the first 2 years, Matador will refund, repair, or replace it with one of equal value or condition. This warranty does not cover customer abuse, cosmetic damage, or fabric coatings. Repairs will bring the product back to its original functionality but may not be cosmetically perfect.
MATADOR 3-YEAR WARRANTY
For products that carry a 3-year warranty: We guarantee your product will remain fully functional for 3 years from the date of purchase for the original purchaser. If you have a functional issue with your product in the first 3 years, Matador will refund, repair, or replace it with one of equal value or condition. This warranty does not cover customer abuse, cosmetic damage, or fabric coatings. Repairs will bring the product back to its original functionality but may not be cosmetically perfect.
WARRANTY OPTIONS AFTER WARRANTY PERIOD HAS EXPIRED
If your product has failed after the warranty period, then please email CustomerService@MatadorEquipment.com and provide a photo of the issue along with proof of purchase to discuss your options.
The Matador 1-Year, 2-Year, and 3-Year Warranties are each considered a voluntary manufacturer’s warranty. They provides rights separate to rights provided by consumer law, including but not limited to those relating to non-conforming goods.
As such, the Matador Warranty benefits are in addition to, and not instead of, rights provided by consumer law. For consumers, who are covered by consumer protection laws or regulations in their country of purchase or, if different, their country of residence, the benefits conferred by Matador’s Warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies conveyed by such consumer protection laws and regulations.
If a product is defective consumers may, in addition to any other rights which they may have under consumer law in the UK, Ireland, countries in the European Union avail themselves of the rights contained in local consumer protection laws. Consumers have the right to choose whether to claim service under the Matador One-Year Limited Warranty or under their consumer law rights.
Important: The Matador 1-Year Warranty terms and conditions shall not apply to consumer law claims.

WHAT IS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?
Clearman Labs LLC dba Matador warrants the Matador-branded product contained in the original packaging ("Matador Product") against defects in materials and workmanship when used in accordance with Matador’s user manuals, technical specifications and other Matador Product published guidelines for the specified period of ONE (1) YEAR, TWO (2) YEARS, or THREE (3) YEARS (as specified on the original packaging) from the date of original retail purchase by the end-user purchaser ("Warranty Period").
You will be able to receive the remedies available under the Matador Warranty for your Matador product via Matador’s customer service agents (please refer to section "How to obtain warranty services"). In the event of any defect in materials and workmanship, you will be able to direct your claims to Matador even in situations where you purchased the Matador Product from a third party.
Please note: All claims made under any Matador Warranty will be governed by the terms set out in this warranty document.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?
This warranty does not apply: (a) fabric coatings; (b) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (c) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, liquid contact, earthquake or other external cause; (d) to damage caused by operating the Matador Product outside the user manual, the technical specifications or other Matador Product published guidelines; (e) to damage caused by service performed by anyone who is not a representative of Matador; (f) to a Matador Product that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permission of Matador; (g) to damage caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the Matador Product.
You may seek service in a country that is not the country of purchase, in such a case you will comply with all applicable import and export laws and regulations and be responsible for all custom duties, V.A.T. and other associated taxes and charges.
WHAT WILL APPLE DO IN THE EVENT OF A WARRANTY CLAIM?
If during the warranty period you submit a claim during the warranty period this warranty, Matador will, at its option:
(i) repair the Matador Product to restore original functionality, or
(ii) replace the Matador Product with a replacement product of the same model (or with your consent a product that has the same or substantially similar features as the original product – e.g., a different model with the same features, or the same model in a different color, or an updated model of the product), or
(iii) refund your purchase price in exchange for the return of your Matador Product.
When a product or part is replaced or a refund provided, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced or refunded item becomes Matador’s property.
A replacement part or product or a repaired Matador Product assumes the remaining warranty of the original Matador Product or ninety (90) days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for you.
For service requested in a country other than the country of purchase for the Matador Product, Matador may repair or replace products and parts with comparable products and parts that comply with local standards. Matador may use Matador Products or replacement parts for service that are sourced from a country that is different from the country from which the Matador Product or original parts were sourced.
HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE?
To obtain warranty service, please send an email to CustomerService@MatadorEquipment.com. Please include the following information in your email:
• Order number/proof of purchase
• Photo of warranty/defect
• Shipping address
WARRANTY SERVICE OPTIONS
Matador will provide warranty service through one of the following options:
(i) Mail-in service. If Matador elects to provide service through its mail-in service, you may ship your Matador Product to a specified Matador facility. Once service is complete, the Matador location will return the Matador Product to you. Matador will pay for shipping to your location once repairs are complete, but may require you to pay for shipping to the repair facility.
(ii) Do-it-yourself (“DIY”) service. Under DIY service Matador will provide you with a replacement product or easily replaceable parts or accessories of a product, which can be replaced without using any tools. Note: Matador is not responsible for any labor costs you incur relating to DIY service. Should you require further assistance with the replacement, contact Matador at the email address listed above. If Apple elects to provide service through DIY service, Matador will cover shipping costs of the parts to
(iii) Replacement service. If Matador elects to provide a replacement product, a representative will ship a replacement or comparable product to your location. Matador will cover shipping costs to your location in this case. Matador may require you to destroy the original product if electing to provide you with a replacement product. You may be required to send photographic proof via email that the original product has been destroyed before a new product will be shipped to you.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
A) Entire agreement:
Other than the consumer law rights to which you are entitled as set out at the beginning of this document, all warranties, conditions and other terms not set out in this warranty document are excluded from the Matador Warranty. As a result, Matador does not make any other promises, conditions or warranties about the service other than set out in this warranty document.
Some countries do not allow limitations on how long such warranties, conditions and/or implied terms may last, so the limitation described above may not apply to you.
B) Limitation of liability:
Matador is not responsible for damage which is not Matador’s fault either to the user of the product or property stored inside a Matador product. These exclusions shall not apply to (i) death or personal injury, (ii) fraud or gross negligence; or (iii) fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iv) any other liability that can not be limited or excluded as a matter of law.
No Matador reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this warranty.
If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable by force of law, it will be excluded from the warranty and the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected.
This Warranty will be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado and the United States of America.
