How waterproof is the Freerain Hip Pack?
Bags with the Freerain name are built from waterproof materials with sealed seams and rolltop closures. Though not intended for intentional submersion, these bags are 100% weatherproof and will keep water out in the most extreme weather conditions when the rolltop is rolled at least 3 times.

How do I pack up and stow the Freerain Hip Pack?
We suggest folding the pack in half longways and rolling up from the side. Alternatively, you can invert the hip pack into the front zipper pocket to contain straps and quickly stow it away. For detailed instructions, the demo video below shows the full pack up.

Can the Freerain Hip Pack be worn as a sling?
Yes, the hip belt will accomodate up to 50" circumference and can be worn at the waist or as a sling.

Good, just small

Really well made, just small. The size basically holds what you could put in a pocket anyways.

Me with a Murse? Well maybe

I never thought I'd be the guy with a man purse or the type to carry around a satchel but damn this thing is awesome. No more crap in my pockets or dropped or smashed sunglasses. This thing is small but mighty. It holds a ton, is completely waterproof, and is stylish to boot. I love the light weightiness of this bag and how functional it is. I use it every day. Quality is top notch and has held up through everything I have thrown at it.

Water Resistant

Great size, lots of great features, just not waterproof; I'd call it "highly water resistant." It couldn't keep the contents dry wearing it cross body on a waterslide (i.e. not submerged, just splashed). Similar to Ian's review, the wet spots were localized to the bottom corners, so I assess it's a poorly sealed seam there and poor quality control that's let through a few of those.
